When I walked in the door at Ageless Center, 10 months ago, I was feeling pretty low. I had recently learned that I was pre-diabetic, I had fatty liver, metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance. Hearing a doctor tell you that you are morbidly obese can really suck the wind out of you. I had NEVER been that heavy, not even when I was 9 months pregnant! knew I had to make a change. With my doctor’s blessing, I started my journey with Ageless Center. I am so glad that I did. I am almost 70 pounds lighter and I feel great! The staff is beyond wonderful!! They listen and provide excellent feedback. To put this into perspective, I was in the pet supply store recently; fighting with a 30-pound bag of dogfood. It hit me…before Semaglutide, I was carrying TWO of these 30-pound bags on MY BODY!! My doctor and I were speaking about this recently, he said “So many people think that obesity can be cured by exercising more. Only skinny people say that. Isn’t it great that we have found a medication that can help reverse weight gain caused by age and metabolism?” The answer….YES IT IS!
